•The issues and challenges faced by people infected and affected are complex and evolving over the years. Stigma, discrimination and other social issues in HIV/AIDS continue to challenge even after threedecadesintotheepidemic.
• In this background, After a successful IndiaInternational Pediatric AIDS Conference - Ind-Ipac-2009 and HIVe Mysore – ART update 2014,15,17,18,19,20 and 2022” , Asha Kirana is hosting “HIVe Mysore – HIV/AIDS update 2024”on Feb 17th and 18th to bring a collective of clinicians, researchers, social workers, care providers and various organizations working in the field of HIV/AIDS.
• This conference is targeted to ART Medical Officer's, DAPCU's, DTO's, family practitioners, physicians, OBYNs, pediatricians and other health care providerstolearnandimprovequalityofcare forPeopleLivingwithHIV/AIDS(PLHIV).

• Asha Kirana, is not for profit organization since 1997 ,began its journey as pioneer in providing counseling services, care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS in this region. Asha Kirana Hospital, a 30-bed facility established in November 2004, brings together research and state-of-the-art treatment for HIV / AIDS and opportunistic infections. Asha Kirana has a network of multi disciplinary health care professionals who offer their expertise to provide quality care.
• This combination along with community-based interventions has enhanced the credibility of the institution in Karnataka state as a quality service provider in the field of HIV / AIDS.
• Asha Kirana works with schools, industry, and other community and faith-based organizations to promote HIV/ AIDS awareness. Counselors and Out Reach Workers (ORWs) conduct periodic HIV/AIDS education and prevention programs in schools and work places through guest lectures and interactive sessions.
• Originating as a Counseling & care clinic for people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWA) at Mahaveer hospital Mysore in 1997, Asha Kirana Evolved into a full-fledged 30 bedded Hospital in 2004, with facilities for general healthcare as well as speciality care for HIV/AIDS. Spread over an acre of land in the peaceful environs of Mysore.
Received Fogarty award for Training at Johns Hopkins University, Received several national and international research grants including NIH, Bill Gates Foundation , ICMR, etc
